I would not want the 1st OP to have the style of the 2nd OP, and the 2nd OP was pretty fantastic where it was placed.>That comfort when Saber makes it through. However with a 2nd OP, I already have a very strong sense of what these characters are like and I can just focus on the cool stuff. Maybe it's because that by the time the first OP comes around, I still haven't gotten a sufficiently strong sense of how the characters 'move' or how they're meant to generally behave, and then the animation results in a flood of information. I'm not sure if I can really explain the difference properly. However, if it's a 2nd OP that shows up before the true route or some other climax, it can be super awesome and very hype-inspiring and I'm practically always in favor. (Those gripping hands in Grisaia no Kajitsu's OP look really good, no matter how cliche they are). Animated events or visual-effects are always welcome though. If it's the first OP (shows up at the very beginning or a couple of hours in), I prefer the characters are not animated beyond the usual effects seen in most OPs.
